GOD IS SO GOOD!: Checkers Hockey

One day, when James was about five years old, he asked me, "Why do I have to have a brain tumor?" James was not usually a complainer. He had been treated for his tumor almost his entire life and it was his way of life. But, I think he was getting tired. So, I said to him (and I believed it), when God was looking for someone to use to show the world what He could do, he chose James and a brain tumor. James stood there quiet for a few minutes...thinking...then boldly said, "And that is what I will do!!" I am so proud of him!! And I am so thankful that the Lord has allowed us to see Him work personally in our lives.

Checkers Hockey

What a surprise it was to receive free tickets to the Checkers hockey game here in Charlotte. Thank you! We had never been to a hockey game before (let along watched hockey), so I wondered how much I'd enjoy it. But, when you have 2 teen boys, how can you pass up free tickets? And in a private suite!

I was suprisingly amazed at how much I enjoyed the game. I could really get into hockey!
